Air Handlers
Installing an air handler as opposed to a furnace can be a great option when there are design limitations or when a large number of heating sources are needed. No venting to the outdoors is necessary due to the unique way in which an air handler circulates heat rather than generating it.
An air handler is particularly effective when “zones” are necessary (specific areas of a home that are required to be warmer or cooler than another). A corresponding thermostat can be placed in certain areas for the air flow to automatically modulate maintaining an even temperature.
As important as the system itself, is how effectively it is distributed through your home which is why Zonelife optimizes duct run sizing and lengths so that your system is not working any harder than it should.
A few additional benefits of the York® Affinity™ Series Air Handler:
- Quiet. Sound dampening design to reduce vibration and noise.
- High-efficiency variable-speed ECM fan motor circulates air for longer periods at a fraction of the cost.
- Longer run times also mean fewer hot and cold spots and longer periods of air filtering, resulting in cleaner and more comfortable air.
- ClimaTrak™ technology adjusts to the outdoor dryness, temperature, and humidity.
